Fast Pitch Softball
Welcome to the home of Mount Vernon Magic fast pitch softball! The Magic is a travel softball program that began in the southern Alexandria area of Fairfax County but now includes players from all over Northern Virginia as well as other DMV locations.The Magic program was founded in 2003 and has over the years fielded teams from 10u through 23u (Women’s Fastpitch).
At the younger age levels, emphasis is on player development, appropriate competition, and fun!Coaches prepare players for tournament play and high school softball.At the higher levels, we develop players who continue to excel at the game as well as prepare interested players for the college recruiting process and college softball.We have a strong track record of sending over 35 players on to play college softball in the past ten years alone.
Teams are formed each August for the fall, winter, and spring/summer seasons.Tryouts are posted (usually for early August) by mid-July.
